Ok.
Finally I took to my senses and got my own domain for a personal blog. There is still a lot of work to do with the look and feel of the site, but if I know myself (and I really should) it will continue to be a work in progress for the rest of its lifespan.
I chose to start out with Derek Punsalans theme 5ThirtyOne v2, which is quite honestly brilliant to customise since it is, in my opion, a ‘blank canvas’. Since my knowledge in CSS, html and php (and other webstandards…) is pretty superficial, evil tongues would probably say not present, the development process is stretching out timewise.
I went with a Shared Server hosting plan from Media Temple, seeing so many good blogs hosted there I am hoping this will have a positive effect on my own site.
But now, back to more gainful work…
