WordPress theming is fun!

So there is probably no surprise that there is a new theme on the way, I am trying out most of it today, but there is lots of small things that need to be done. Yeah I know I probably should have been waiting for the finished theme before i uploaded it, but bare with me on this one.

Just a quick note to tell you all that pixelcollector goes in to summer hiatus and will be undergoing some major maintenance and design work for a fresh start in august.

The above states the obvious in a bad ‘web 2.0′ sort of language, I have succesfully updated pixelcollector to wp 2.1. Horay.

Also I found myself a new theme until I can get a grip and design one on my own (or rip somebody elses apart). Be good.

Comma Rules

By popular demand from my active readers, I found this on ‘Literacy Education Online ‘, here are the English comma rules in short form:

Use a comma before a coordinating conjunction (and, or, but, nor, yet, for, so) that separates two independent clauses.
Use a comma after an introductory word, phrase, or clause that comes before a main clause.
Use commas around words, phrases, and clauses in the middle of a sentence when they aren’t essential to the meaning of the sentence.
Use commas between items in a series.
Use commas before and after a quotation within a sentence.
Use a comma before an afterthought or contrasting element.
Use commas to set off geographical names, items in date, and professional titles.

Now I only have to learn them.
