I have a thing for vinyl toys, especially when they are made with a dry sense of british humor like these new sets from Yum Yum. You have to be a serious fella if these can’t put a smile on your face! Still not available for purchase, but I’ll keep an eye on them in order to get some company for my eBoy sets. More pics after the jump, and the awesome guys at Yum Yum has even made a animated short featuring their characters!

The karate grandma is an obvious favorite of mine!

Walk Across America

By now you’ve probably seen the pretty awesome video of a guy that appears to be walking across America, if not I’ve embedded the video here for your convenience and viewing pleasure.

According to Thought Gadgets the whole film is sponsored by Levis and is one of their latest virals. In my mind the video showing off how they get the whole thing done is more interesting then the video itself, embedded after the jump.

Just saw this beautiful time lapse of Eyjafjallajökull (yes, I copied/pasted the name) by Sean Stiegemeier. Everytime I see a well done timelapse they strike me as far more powerful than “regular video”.

My Surface View has arrived!

I got my new Nic Miller print from Surface View the other day, and I gotta say the quality of the print really impressed me! I wasn’t sure what to expect in terms of print quality, but I have absolutely nothing but positive things to say, it is that good. The only thing which could be better is the order process when you order a bespoke print as I did, and you only want a “zoomed in” selection of the original photography. It is a bit hard to see exactly what you are choosing and there is not really a good preview functionality, but happily it became just what I wanted.
